Spay / Neuter Contract

Our puppies are sold as pets only. We have a strict spay/neuter contract. We only sell breeding rights to a very limited number of approved breeders.

Deposit Information

We have three waiting lists for families who want to be in line for a puppy; one list is for Standard Bernedoodles, the next list is for Mini Bernedoodles, and the last list is for Sheepadoodles. We require a non-refundable $200 deposit to be added to a waitlist. (Families who aren't sure which kind of puppy they would like may place multiple deposits for multiple lists. All deposits placed would go towards the price of the puppy that is chosen.)

We send regular email updates and use our Puppy Schedule Page to keep everyone updated for the anticipated timing of upcoming litters and descriptions of the puppies we can expect from the litter in terms of general size and appearance.

Deposits are non-refundable because they are holding your place in line for a puppy! The deposits will expire one year after a puppy that meets your general requirements is available, so that gives each family lots of flexibility to make sure they are able to select the perfect puppy!

All families on our waiting list have our phone number and our email address. We love when families are excited about meeting their new puppy, and we encourage checking in and sending messages. We value communication with the families we are blessed to work with for the lifetime of our puppies!

Make a Deposit

A non-refundable deposit of $200 will secure your place in line for a puppy on one of our waiting lists. We require a phone conversation before accepting a deposit, so that we can get to know each other a little and answer any questions you may have. Deposits will expire one year after a puppy of the gender/color desired would be available, giving each family several litters and puppies to choose from.

After we've talked, you may submit your deposit via PayPal or Venmo. If you need another payment option for the deposit, then please let us know. A 3% ($6.00) convenience fee will be added for payment processing to PayPal payments.

For your convenience, you may pay your deposit using PayPal. A 3% ($6.00) convenience fee will be added for payment processing.

Balance Payment

We strongly prefer for the balance for your puppy to be paid in cash for families who will be picking up their puppy at our home. That way, you're not paying for your puppy until you're actually meeting him/her, paying unnecessary fees, and we're avoiding complications that we've run into with online payments.

However, if your puppy is going to be delivered or if cash is not an option, we require payment to be cleared before the puppy goes home. We can accept personal checks or money orders if we receive them at least 5 business days before puppies go home. We can also accept online payments with an added 3% for the processing fee charged by the companies.

Puppy Selection

When the puppies are born, all families who have placed a deposit with us will be notified via email, and newborn photos of the puppies will be posted on our website. Everyone will be asked to respond to the email to let us know if they would like to be in line for that particular litter. Each Monday, we will post our Movie Monday video. This is about a 3-6 minute video of the litter posted right above the puppies' pictures so you can watch them grow each week.

Our families are sent email updates, pictures and videos along the way, and we often post on our social media sites as the puppies grow. For our families who are close enough to come visit, we offer one scheduled day per litter for optional in person visits when the puppies are several weeks old. An updated photo and an individual video will be posted for the puppies when they are about 5-6 weeks old, and then families start preparing for Puppy Draft Day! We are available to answer questions throughout the process and love talking to families who are excited about their new babies!

The wonderful veterinary staff at New Hope Pet Vet in Cleveland, Tennessee takes such wonderful care of our pups. Our vet will give the pups a thorough physical exam and their fist set of vaccinations, and once our pups are cleared to be matched with their new families, the Puppy Draft will begin!

We know everyone is so excited as the dates for the vet visit and Puppy Draft approaches! On Draft Day, we begin by calling the families in line for a puppy from the litter. During the call, we will answer questions and work with them to help them select their puppy. We announce their choice to the other families in line, and then make the next call. If we get to a family whose favorite puppies from the litter have already been chosen, they may choose to pass and wait for a puppy from a later litter. Once every family in line has selected a puppy or passed, we will post any remaining puppies that are available on our website and our social media pages. Puppy Draft Day is full of excitement!

If we have available puppies posted, then families who are interested in those pups should send us a message, and we will call and talk to them about those puppies.

Puppy Pick-up

Puppies go to their forever homes when they are 8 weeks old. Families on our waitlist are given the go home date for the puppies as soon as they are born, so they will have ample time to make arrangements to pick up their puppy that weekend. Occasionally we may be able to hold a puppy for a limited time after the pup's go home date, but we do charge a boarding fee of $30 a day.

Delivery Options

We have several delivery options available for families who are not able to pick their puppy up at our home.

Driving We usually have someone available who can drive a puppy to your home or meet at a location along the way. The cost for this is $100 per hour one way. This fee covers the cost of gas, travel expenses, and time for the round trip necessary. If the trip would require an overnight stay, then an additional $200 will be added for hotel cost.

Meeting at a local airport Puppies under 20 lbs can be flown with you as a carry on. Usually the airline charges a pet fee of $100-$150. We have several local airports, and if you would like to have someone meet you at the airport with your puppy, we charge the following fees.

  • Chattanooga (CHA)- $100
  • Knoxville (TYS)-$150
  • Atlanta (ATL)-$250
  • Nashville (BNA)-$300

Flight Nanny We have flight nannies we have worked with who are very experienced with traveling with a puppy. We have two types of flight nannies available:

  • Standby Flight Nanny: The cost for our standby flight nanny is $550-$800 plus the fee to meet the flight nanny at the airport. Our standby flight nanny does a very good job of finding flights that will work on a standby status to get your puppy to you on the scheduled time. However, her price is kept low by taking flights with last minute seat availability, so it's possible the nanny will need to find another route or time to deliver the puppy if a flight is full. Families choosing this option will need to be flexible with pickup times. She may also be able to purchase a ticket for a confirmed flight for an additional fee.
  • Confirmed Flights: Leah is part of our Ocoee River Doodles team and routinely spends time with our puppies. She will make a flight plan and purchase an airline ticket to bring your puppy to you. The cost for her service is usually about $800-$1,200, depending on the price of the airline ticket, puppy fee, her expenses, and her time. She will pick the puppy up from us, so the fee for delivering the puppy to the airport is included in her price. While she can't guarantee her flight won't be delayed, the airline will work with her through any complications since she's flying with a confirmed ticket.

Free Microchip

We believe strongly in the benefits of the microchip, and each of our puppies goes home with a microchip inserted and a lifetime paid account. A microchip is about the size of a grain of rice, and is inserted between the puppy's shoulder blades. In the scary event of a lost pet, the microchip can be super helpful in reuniting the lost pet with their family. We register the microchip with your contact information before the puppy goes home, and we provide instructions on how to login and update your account. We recommend having your pets scanned regularly to be sure the chips are readable and make sure the registry information is kept up to date if you move.

2-Year Health Guarantee

Great puppies come from great dogs! Through much study and health testing, we carefully select our parent dogs and are confident they will produce happy, healthy puppies. Our puppies come with a two year genetic health guarantee from date of birth. We guarantee that your puppy will not have life-threatening, crippling, and/or disabling (genetic) health defects or we will offer a puppy from a later litter free of charge. Our written health guarantee is available upon request and a signed copy is sent home with each puppy.

Early Training Program

Our puppies are surrounded with the best care from the very beginning! Our lifetime of experience with animals, and years of experience in raising puppies, increases with each litter that is born. A combination of research of new techniques and our tried and proven methods of puppy raising prepares our puppies for their life with their new family. From their first days, we are working with our newborns on Early Neurological Stimulation and Early Scent Introduction. As the pups get older, we begin socialization with different sounds, textures, and experiences and potty training. We use techniques from the Puppy Culture Program, Baxter and Bella, and North Georgia K9 all in a purposeful and developmentally appropriate method to give your pup the best start possible!
